Social Care & Education is looking for a compassionate Live-In Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Cricklade. The shift pattern for this role is two weeks on and two weeks off.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering personalised care and support to a client with a spinal cord injury, aimed at promoting independence and enhancing quality of life.
Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility support (such as hoisting and wheelchair use), and medication administration.
Encouraging social engagement and fostering a positive, supportive environment for the client.
Ensuring the client’s needs are met in a respectful, compassionate, and professional manner.
Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and family members to deliver consistent care.
Essential Requirements:
Full UK Driving Licence: Candidates must hold a valid driving licence.
Flexibility: Willingness to work live-in shifts as required.
Care Experience: Experience with spinal cord injuries is beneficial, though comprehensive training will be provided.
