Job Title: Residential Children’s Support Worker
Salary: £ 25,000 per year (40hrs a week, additional £50 per sleep-in)
Locations: Wellingborough, NN8
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Social Care and Education are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Residential Children's Support Worker to join our team.

The Role
•    Ensure children and young people are safeguarded and always protected.
•    Support the young people to develop, achieve, encourage and support with all educational and care-based needs.
•    Build supportive relationships with the young people, based around trust, respect and understanding. To enable them to engage with advice and information given to them.
•    Keep up to date records that must be accurate in the home.
•    Encourage the children and young people to maintain a positive routine and be a positive role model for them.
•    Engage and create activities for the young people in the home and community.
•    Have understanding and implement legislations, policies and procedures.
•    Support the children and young people with budgeting and finances

The Requirements
· 1 year UK based experience working in a children home
· Ideally, you would hold a level 3 qualification working with children or young adults (willingness to work towards this)
· Full UK driving licence
