Nursery Practitioner
Duration: Part time and Full-time
Start: Immediate
Salary: £16,000 to £25,000 per annum
Social Care & Education are looking for Nursery Practitioners to work within a well-established nursery based in Basingstoke, Reading. You will be working as part of a friendly team in providing a safe environment for babies and young children to learn and develop.
The Job Role
As a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for the children. You’ll be responsible for planning and implementing fun, educational activities that meet EYFS standards, observing and assessing each child’s progress, and working closely with parents and caregivers to support every child’s individual journey.
• To record children’s progress though out the day
• Build and maintain relationships with parents/carers and staff
• Provide support to all other nursery staff and management
• Adhere to the nursery’s policies and procedures
• Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene always
• Create imaginative, fun and educational activities for all children
Personal Specification
• You must be qualified in Early Years at Level 3
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong partnerships with parents/carers
• Excellent knowledge of how babies and young children learn
• Support and work well with other staff at the Nursery
• You must be prepared to support where needed for example preparation of snacks, cleaning.
